Eagles March On, Beat Branson 4-0

The Eagles beat Branson in the first round of the district playoffs 4-0. The first goal came off a corner kick from Robert Neathery that went in off of the head of a Branson player just a few minutes into the game. Neathery would put the Eagles up by two from an excellent cross from KhaiUyen Huynh 20 minutes in. Huynh would get the third goal off of a corner kick from Drake Trease that was headed back across the goal to Huynh from Luke Moore in the 23rd minute. The final goal of the match came just a couple of minutes into the second half when Neathery found Adrian Yang-Jacobi who cut inside of his defender to receive the ball and hit a beautiful shot from outside the 18 just under the bar.  Mason Young and the stingiest defense in Nixa history got another shutout bringing the total shutouts to 14 for the season.

The team plays Glendale in the semifinals on Wednesday at Cooper 1 at 7pm.
